Our Story: Who is Southpoint?
Since 1990 Southpoint has been one of the industry leaders for the imaging marketplace providing innovative products and solutions for both the traditional and digital value chain. We help independent photo imaging professionals elevate their businesses with exceptional support, distribution, and products. That’s just one of the reasons for our continued success. We are one of the few that can truly say that “we have been where our customers have been” so we know what you want and most importantly understand what you need. This is the reason customers have stayed loyal to us and we hope that our unique approach will allow new customers to give us a chance to become their “One-Stop Shopping Solution” for their photo imaging needs.
Our corporate offices and main warehouse are located in Dallas, Texas where we maintain our sales/technical staff, customer service team, showroom, and management personnel to address any questions or provide equipment demonstrations. Our 2013 acquisition of Photo and Digital Imaging Supply (PDI) in Rochester, New York gives us reach in the northeast and enables us to provide additional distribution capabilities for all customers. The best news is that most of the same friendly staff in this location remains intact to continue providing excellent service and support customers have been accustomed to. Now with PDI as part of Southpoint, customers can expect a wider selection of products, faster service, and additional resources to meet their needs. With two strategic shipping locations Southpoint is able to reach most points in the continuous states within 2-3 business days.

The Southpoint product portfolio is always evolving and expanding. Our core business continues to be product lines serving all segments of the photographic and specialty graphics markets. We carry an extensive inventory catering to markets such as traditional silver halide, dry lab inkjet, fine art and canvas, school, sports, event imaging, and government businesses.
Today, Southpoint is recognized as the Largest Reseller in the U.S. for Kodak traditional lab supplies which includes: paper, chemicals, film, kiosk solutions and media. Additionally, we pride ourselves in being a Platinum Reseller for Fujifilm for paper, chemicals, film, drylab media and equipment solutions giving us a perfect balance in the traditional sector insuring that our customers know we only work with industry leaders. Furthermore, our other exceptional partners include: Epson Professional Graphics Media & Inks, Unisub/Chromaluxe Substrates, Canon Premier Image Prograf Wide-Format, CPAC Imaging Photo Chemicals, Champion Photo Chemistry & Inks, Mitsubishi Paper Mills (MPM), and Sawgrass Inks. As you will see the options are limitless, but even with all these choices, if we still do not carry something you want, just ask us and we will do our best to have it available for your next order!
Southpoint Develops to Help You Save!
As part of our in-house product development, we recognized a need to better serve the many customers who demand quality products at more economical prices. Southpoint has developed the AquaSolv Digital Media line, our own house brand for our digital and wide-format clients offering a variety of photo grade, fine art, and canvas media. We also are extremely proud to announce our commitment to our dry lab customers by improving the SPIS Drylab Pro Papers with our newest generation called SPIS ProVersa. Customers with high production printers (Noritsu, Fuji, or Epson) or compact printers (Epson and Fuji) will be pleased to know our products are performance tested… simply order, plug-in, use, and enjoy the savings!
